The location is fantastic with many restaurants in the area, the room rates are affordable, and the staff is very helpful and accommodating.

Well decorated room and large bathroom with a hairdryer, bidet, and bath sheets. Perfect and magnificent location - really close to Dialogo nel Buio. - Good restaurant within a close distance from the hotel. - Set close to the central station, handy for getting about.

The location of the hotel is perfect as it is centrally located and within walking distance of the historic center, making it easy to explore the city. The staff at the hotel were incredibly welcoming and made me feel at home during my stay. They went above and beyond to ensure that I had a pleasant experience. The hotel is situated in a historic palace with beautiful frescoes and parquet floors, giving it a unique and charming atmosphere. The rooms at the hotel are spacious and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities such as satellite television, mini bar, air conditioning, and a direct telephone line. The hotel is conveniently located near various attractions, including the Aquarium, Royal Palace, and the Old Harbour.

Stayed for 1 night and was impressed by this nice budget hotel. The staff was incredibly nice and accommodating and provided us with tips. Its location was central, very close to a century palace.

There was elevator to be needed.

I recently stayed at a charming hotel in the heart of a historical city. The staff at this hotel were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Although there was no breakfast provided, they recommended a nearby café that was equally satisfying. The interior of the hotel may not have been luxurious, but its old and beautiful house had palace-like decorated ceilings. To my surprise, I was given an apartment with four beds and a kitchen. The location was also ideal, as it was very close to the train station and just a 15-minute walk to the old city and all the palazzos. I had a pleasant stay at the Family Hotel Balbi.

The hotel is located in the 18th cent buildings. The fresco on the ceiling was exellent. Many rooms have different frescoes. Rooms are big and stuff is very friendly.

The breakfast they served was fantastic with a range of options to choose from 🥐 the room we stayed in was equipped with a safe, a flat-screen TV featuring satellite channels, and a mini fridge.

We had a fantastic stay at Family Hotel Balbi! The hosts were incredibly accommodating and gave us great advice on local attractions and eateries. The hotel itself is situated in the historical center of the city, just minutes away from the train station, university, museums, churches, and charming squares. Our room was clean, well-equipped, and had a lovely, high ceiling. The owners were friendly and welcoming, and we felt right at home.

Really good location - close to Stazione Principale for reaching other towns in Liguria region. Easy access to the most beautiful places on foot. Very welcoming staff.
